In WR39A this quarter, we will be exploring how Disney is constructing our values (Disney & Social Construction). Throughout the quarter, we will be making podcasts and website projects about the main topic; at the end, we will produce our final essay. Here are some of my goals in this class connected to our course objectives down below:

You can also call me Zoe.
I am a first-year student at UCI, currently majoring in Education Sciences. My goal is to double major in Business Administration. My hobbies are reading novels and traveling. I am a trilingual speaker who can speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
My goal in this class: (course objectives)

Increase my reading accuracy and be able to read academic discourse as well as scholarly publications. (To me, long essays are a bit hard to understand so far)

Develop habits of creativity and metacognition. (I am still a bit confused about the definition of these two terms, that's why I feel like I need to develop these two habits.

Improve my writing skills, especially in grammar and sentence structure.
